BEVERLY LADLEY
MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Beverly Ladley currently serves as a Senior Advisor for a global management consulting firm. For 30 years prior to that, Beverly held various leadership roles with major banks and fintech firms.
A native Texan, Beverly met her husband Mark while both were undergraduates at Duke University, and they have lived in Charlotte since she graduated from UVA’s Darden School of Business in 1992. They have three grown children, Allie, George and Sofia. An active leader in her community, Beverly currently serves on the Atrium Health Foundation Board and previously served on the Charlotte Ballet and Alexander Youth Network Boards, as well as the Levine Children’s Hospital Planning and Advisory Committee.
In 2000, Beverly established the Baby J Fund, in honor of her son, John Francis Ladley III, Baby J. Baby J died in that same year at the age of 15 months after a courageous battle with a malignant brain tumor. Unfortunately, at the time of Baby J’s diagnosis, there were no viable treatments available locally. As a result, Mark and Beverly had to juggle pursuing challenging medical treatments out of state while raising their two-year-old daughter and sustaining careers. It became Beverly’s mission to do whatever she could to support pediatric cancer research development in the region so that families in need could pursue world-class treatment closer to home.
The Ladleys, along with a dedicated support network of friends, have raised over $1 million through donations and the annual sale of high-end holiday ornaments to advance pediatric brain tumor research and treatment at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
