DANIELLE EDWARDS
Residential Realtor/Broker with RE/MAX Executive
Danielle grew up in South Florida in an environment where the performing arts were paramount to her daily life. She was very involved at the Ft. Lauderdale Children’s Theater and Thespian Society in high school and accumulated thousands of community service hours by the time she graduated high school.
After leaving South Florida, Danielle pursued her career in broadcasting and telecommunications, which took her into some top-tier markets like Los Angeles and New York City. Until finally landing at home in Charlotte as the In-Game Host of the, then, Charlotte Bobcats NBA franchise. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with our city, and she quickly knew this was where she wanted to plant roots. In 2006 ‘Driven Danielle,’ as she is known, decided to join RE/MAX and quickly became a leader in the residential real estate market in Charlotte. Winning awards like Rookie Of The Year, Platinum Club, Chairman’s Club, 5 Star Professional Award, RE/MAX Global Marketing Award, ultimately inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and was Charlotte’s Elevate Magazine Female Realtor of the Year in 2022.
Danielle proudly works alongside 450 other RE/MAX agents spread across 17 offices within RE/MAX EXECUTIVE and is proud to boast being at the number one RE/MAX in the South East and top 10 in the country.
She currently serves on CANOPY MLS Marketing and Communications Committee for the third consecutive year. Is a RE/MAX ‘Miracle Agent’ for the Levine’s Children Hospital and is an active supporter of the OPES Foundation. This past holiday season she adopted 7 angels for the Salvation Army Angel Tree and included her clients to be elves to make that happen!
But what Danielle does is secondary to why she does it. Danielle LOVES helping people. As a teen, she started an afterschool Dance Program at the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County and helped direct a theater program at a special needs school to give teens with Down Syndrome an opportunity to take the stage and shine. Giving back isn’t something she just does, it is who she is.
Residing in South Charlotte with her unicorn native-Charlottean husband Tim, their 3 children (Chloe 19, Carter 18 and Clara 6), and rescue dog Gator; Danielle loves spending time with her family, walking the greenway with Gator, finding her happy place with Yoga, and now a proud “Dance Mom” with her youngest Clara.
Danielle’s proudest accomplishments is being chosen as a Community Hero to carry the Olympic Torch for the 1996 Summer Olympics through South Florida, making the Dazzler Dance Team at the University of Florida AND making the SunSations Dance Team at The University of Miami (“The U!”).
GET TO KNOW DANIELLE:
- Dancing Experience: Dance was an integral part of my life prior to the age of 21. It has been close 20+ years since I have danced, and now have a lot of injuries that I am willing to press through to make this dream become a reality!
- Fun Fact: I am probably dancing in a lot of pain right now. I have chronic foot issues and pain, despite already having foot surgery. I normally never wear high heels, and would like to thank the fashion gurus for making sneakers hip and cool! I also am a bonus mom, and my favorite movie is the Greatest Showman that I watch on repeat with my daughter.
- Why did you choose to support Charlotte Ballet? There is an old line from the movie “A Chorus Line,” … everything is beautiful AT THE BALLET.
There is an old line from the movie “A Chorus Line,” … everything is beautiful AT THE BALLET.And it is true, everything AT THE BALLET is perfect, timeless, flawless, and effortless.. yet behind that, I know is sacrifice, dedication, injury, joy, and a journey of blood, sweat, and tears, all for us to come enjoy. Having a world-class ballet company in Charlotte solidifies making Charlotte a great place to live and visit. My goal is to bring awareness that the Charlotte Ballet performs not just during the holiday season, The Nutcracker, but year-round for different shows and events like this one.
We all need a break from our devices and reality. Going to the ballet and supporting the local arts in Charlotte is paramount to having the Queen City on any TOP 10 list in the United States. By supporting the arts, we also support the local restaurants and businesses that need us to stay thriving—everyone wins!

THE CANOPY HOUSING FOUNDATION
Dancing to ensure homelessness is center stage
As part of its commitment to focusing on the full housing continuum (from homelessness to homeownership) the Foundation will utilize the funds raised to address identified needs of the 3,000+ housing insecure people in our community. Specifically, the Foundation will target the funds to address the needs of the area’s estimated 375 homeless families with children. Working with local service organizations, the Foundation will seek to understand the best placement and utilization of these funds to create lasting impact.
Canopy Housing Foundation is the charitable arm of the CANOPY Realtor Association(CLT). Allows Realtors to address unmet housing needs and advocate for fair and affordable housing standards and practices. Since 1985 it has made a difference in our community through programs, events, and financial donations and grants to area nonprofits.
I have enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity annually on Realtor Care Day to see these funds at work all over our area from center city Charlotte to Matthews. It is my hope that this money raised can make an even bigger impact so maybe one day everyone will have a place to call home.
